Country song, Dad sings to boy about love

Country song, guessing it was late 90's.
The dad is singing to the boy and I think he mentions baseball, and the neighbor girl. (its not Don't Take the Girl by Tim McGraw but has similar idea/feel) Boy doesn't realize how awesome girl is(of course) till later. The word LOVE is prominant in chorus, may be last word, held long in chorus. Reminds me of Mark Wills but it's not him. HELP!! |

| Well I don't think this quite fits the description, but the only thing I can think of is George Strait's "Love Without An End, Amen." |
