So here's the message she sent me::
So I was watching this surgery show on Discovery Health I think. And this 16 year old girl had what they called a "vampire tumor" that had grown so large that her body stopped thriving around the time she was 9.
They were only able to remove half the tumor before the Chinese Children's hospital ran out of blood for the girl.. 50 fucking units! So anyway, at the end of this very dramatic surgery the little girl is lying in recovery, a good 30 lbs of tumor lighter, and this song pops up. I didn't really take note of it, but a bit later I am singing the little bit I heard over and over to myself. It's very melancholy sounding and they only played this one part. This leads me to believe that the rest of the song sucks, but I have to try.
Well, I've been searching, but have had NO luck.
I'm hoping maybe one of you has this song somewhere in your collection so that you can tell me what the fuck it is and I'll be able to move on with my life..
okay... here's the bit of possibly misheard lyrics I've been repeating to myself:
"I just want to know you're better
I just want to know that you're alright
I just want to hear your laughter
*mumbles a little to self*... your smile again."
The melody is just as repetitive as the lyrics. and that is probably why it is stuck in my head. I just need some freakin' song closure! |
